BRIK Magazine
BRIK is a concept architecture and interior design magazine targeting a fashion-conscious millennial and Gen Z audience, who are most willing to challenge norms. There is a sense of subversion in the misspelt masthead. It’s short and punchy, reflecting the pared back layout. I created a bespoke typeface – minimal, blocky, almost abstract – that feeds into the publication's experimental and modern personality, and minimalist aesthetic. The layout, while minimal, does not shy away from colour, and focuses on shape and form, nudging against abstraction while remaining mainstream.
